Finance Manager

Your mission
As Finance Manager in Brazil, you will be responsible for all financial operations of our payment institution. Reporting to the Global Head of Finance (Spain). Being in front of process of financial control, regulatory compliance, treasury, tax, and reporting. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-growing fintech where your work directly impacts operations, governance, and growth.
Your profile

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all finance, accounting, and regulatory reporting for the Brazilian entity.

  • Manage treasury, fund settlements, FX (including crypto), and financial operations.

  • Ensure full compliance with local tax, accounting (COSIF), and regulatory requirements.

  • Own relationships with auditors, regulators, banks, acquirers, and FX providers.

  • Implement and maintain internal controls, financial policies, and governance frameworks.

  • Supervise outsourced finance and accounting providers; manage SLAs and track deliverables.

  • Oversee liquidity management and cash flow, in close collaboration with the treasury team.

  • Provide finance input for merchant onboarding, process automation, and system improvements.

  • Deliver monthly management reports, financial statements, and analyses to support decision-making.

  • Handle regulatory reporting, including BACEN, Receita Federal, DIMP, E-financeiro, and others.

  • Manage special finance projects and respond to ad hoc leadership requests.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with card acquirers, sub-acquirers, or payment operations.

  • Strong network with local banks, acquirers, FX desks, and crypto providers.

  • Solid understanding of SWIFT, FX operations, and crypto transactions.

  • Deep knowledge of COSIF accounting and Brazilian financial regulations.

  • Proven track record in managing audits and regulatory reporting.

  • Comfortable leading and executing—this is not a back-office role.

  • Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial controls.

  • Fluency in English.

Nice to Have

  • CRC (Brazilian CPA) registration.

  • Experience in multinational fintech or payment companies.

  • Knowledge of financial systems and automation tools.

  • Fluency in Spanish.
